The fit-out that damages the concept
A light cove that waves, a soft edge, a ceiling that telegraphs under raking light — and the final photograph is unusable. Your image depends on tolerances most drywallers never even measure.
Light coves, contemporary plasterwork, Level-5 skim finishes, stretched lacquers — QUASART executes what you design, without reinterpreting it, and stays loyal to the designer from first meeting to final photograph.
Skims, lacquers, colours — in hand before deciding
A real panel approved before roll-out
Every cove, bulkhead and shadow gap, line by line
Light profiles tested in the cove before closing
Clean phasing — never sanding after painting
Prepared for every project · Approval on the real thing · The designer keeps the decision
Send a project boardAn interior project forgives nothing: the final photograph shows every edge, every line of light, every reflection. And that photograph is what fills your next order book.
A light cove that waves, a soft edge, a ceiling that telegraphs under raking light — and the final photograph is unusable. Your image depends on tolerances most drywallers never even measure.
The detail you drew exists for a reason. The tradesman who refuses it out of comfort turns your creation into a compromise. At QUASART the default answer is “here is how we do it” — and when a real technical constraint exists, we propose a drawn alternative, not a renunciation.
The worst risk of the profession: the company that criticises your choices in front of your client, or approaches them directly for the next project. QUASART works FOR the designer: your clients remain your clients, your choices are defended with one voice, and the creative credit is yours.
Material board, mood board, drawings or detail booklet — we price line by line, with written questions before any commitment. The brands and references you specify are respected, or an equivalence is submitted for your approval.
Board fidelityFinish samples in hand, then a real witness area on site: skim, colour, cove lit with the actual light profile. You approve on the real thing, under the room’s own light — never on a colour chart.
Witness areaSystematic protection, strict phasing of trades, a site that is presentable at all times — including in occupied homes. You are informed before every milestone; your client is never approached behind your back.
Clean siteInspection under raking light with the final luminaires on, immediate touch-ups, site handed over ready to photograph. The last impression is the one that remains — and the one you publish.
Ready to shootEach package can be entrusted separately or combined — under a single site management.
Coves sized for the chosen light source, bulkheads and sculpted ceilings on framing, profiles integrated from the structure in coordination with the electrician.
Straight cornices, shadow gaps, stepped ceilings — contemporary plasterwork in board and plaster, lines set by laser. Moulded ornamental plaster is entrusted to our partner workshops, under our coordination.
Level-5 where light grazes, careful Level-3 elsewhere — advised room by room, honestly, to protect your budget without sacrificing the shot.
Stretched lacquers, deep velvets, bespoke colours from your palette. We apply the brands you specify, strictly to their data sheets.
Acoustic ceilings and linings integrated into the design — the calm of a hotel suite without a visible tile.
For packages beyond our craft, we mobilise specialist partners integrated into the programme under our direction. One contact for you, each gesture to its specialist.
No finish is generalised without a witness panel approved by you, on site, under the final lighting. Surprise is the enemy of high-end work.
No substitution of brand, colour or finish without your written approval. A real technical constraint leads to a documented alternative — never a unilateral decision.
Your clients remain your clients. We never comment on your choices in front of them, never approach them directly, and any request they address to us is passed on to you. It is written down — and it is honoured.
Protection, dust extraction at source, daily tidy-up — because a high-end site gets visited at any moment, often with your client.
« The credit for a beautiful interior belongs to the person who designed it. Our craft is to make that design exact — and to stay in our place: behind the work, beside the designer. »
— QUASART — Execution philosophy
What interior architects and decorators ask us before entrusting a first project.
Yes. A material board, a mood board and a few dimensions are enough for a first pricing based on clearly stated assumptions. If you work with drawings and detail booklets, we price line by line. In both cases, questions are asked in writing before any commitment — never discovered mid-site.
Honestly: moulded ornamental plaster is a specialist workshop craft. We do not imitate it — we integrate it into the project with our partner workshops, under our coordination and our programme. Our own territory is contemporary plasterwork: coves, bulkheads, straight cornices, sculpted ceilings in board and plaster.
Level-5 — a sanded full-surface skim — is required wherever light grazes the surface: ceilings with light coves, walls receiving lacquer or deep colours, halls washed with natural light. Elsewhere, a careful Level-3 is undetectable and protects the budget. We say so room by room, honestly — over-specifying Level-5 inflates the bill without improving the shot.
Yes, and it is a craft in itself: living areas isolated behind protection airlocks, dust extraction at source, daily tidy-up and cleaning, agreed hours, room-by-room phasing. Your client experiences the site as a controlled intervention — not an invasion.
Yes — your paint, lacquer and skim brands are applied in strict accordance with their data sheets, with the specified primers and drying times. If a product raises a real constraint (substrate, compatibility, lead time), we propose a documented equivalence for your approval — never a silent substitution.
