Professional painting

Painting: the finishing step that makes all the difference.

The quality of a paint job is 80% determined by surface preparation. QUASART devotes the necessary time to preparatory steps — stripping defective old coats, filling, sanding, applying bonding primers — before any painting begins.

QUASART, based in Crauthem (L-3327), works exclusively with professional paints (Tollens, Sikkens, Zolpan, V33) for interiors, and high-durability facade paints (Sto-Silco, Weber.plast, Parex) for exteriors. The difference compared to consumer-grade paint is visible to the naked eye.

Questions about professional painting

Everything you need to know

A 70-80 m² 3-bedroom apartment takes 4 to 6 days for a 2-painter team — preparation included. Timelines vary depending on substrate condition (new vs renovation) and finish level (DTU 59.1 level C, B or A).

Matte absorbs light — it hides imperfections but is less resistant to washing. Satin reflects light slightly, resists rubbing and can be sponge-cleaned. Recommended for hallways, children’s rooms and kitchens.

Yes, 30 to 50% more expensive to purchase. But the superior covering power (2 coats are enough vs 3 with consumer paint), durability and final finish largely justify the difference. On a full project, the material price difference is marginal.

Indoors: yes, without restriction (heated rooms, controlled humidity). Outdoors: temperature must be > 5 °C and relative humidity < 80%. Facade paints cannot be applied on frozen, wet or sun-exposed substrates.

Yes — RAL, NCS, Pantone or from a physical sample. Spectrocolorimetric machine for perfect accuracy. 4,000+ shades available. Formulations are stored for future touch-ups.

Ideally yes — but QUASART protects remaining furniture (dust sheets, masking tape). Furniture is grouped in the centre of the room. For occupied offices, we work out-of-hours (evenings, weekends).
