Accessibility Statement

1. Commitment
QUASART S.à r.l. is committed to making its website quasart.lu accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, in accordance with Article 2 of the Luxembourg law of 28 May 2019 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public-sector bodies, and with the international WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), level AA.
Although QUASART S.à r.l. is a private-sector organisation and is not directly subject to this law, we voluntarily apply these requirements out of conviction and respect for all our users.
2. Compliance status
The website quasart.lu is partially compliant with the RGAA 4.1 framework (General Accessibility Improvement Framework) and WCAG 2.2 standards, level AA.
An internal accessibility audit was conducted in April 2026. An external audit by a third-party organisation is planned for the second half of 2026.
3. Known non-conformities
The following content is not yet fully accessible:
- Some decorative images may lack an explicit empty alt attribute.
- Keyboard navigation in the "Services" mega-menu may present difficulties with certain browser/screen reader combinations.
- The carousel in the "Our Clients" section is not fully keyboard-navigable without a mouse.
- Map content (Mapbox) does not have a complete text alternative.
- Some colour contrasts on secondary text in light mode may fall below the required 4.5:1 ratio.
These items are subject to a continuous improvement plan. Fixes are prioritised according to their impact on the user experience.
4. Technologies used
The quasart.lu website uses the following technologies:
- Semantic HTML5 (ARIA landmarks: header, nav, main, footer, aside)
- CSS3 with custom properties and media queries
- JavaScript (React 19, Next.js 15)
- ARIA attributes for interactive components (menus, accordions, modals, carousel)
- "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable element
- Respects the prefers-reduced-motion preference for animations
- Respects the prefers-color-scheme preference for dark mode
5. Compatible assistive technologies
This website has been tested for compatibility with:
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
- Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Escape, arrow keys)
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Windows high contrast mode
Reference browsers: Chrome 120+, Firefox 120+, Safari 17+, Edge 120+.
