StoVentec Glass panel
97% recycled glass support panel. Rigid, rot-proof, A2 rated. Replaces traditional cladding — render is applied directly onto it. Thickness 6 mm, weight ~11 kg/m².
The only ventilated facade system with render finish. Recycled glass support panel, A2 rating, total architectural freedom. One system, one manufacturer, one expertise: Sto. QUASART applicator in Luxembourg.
StoVentec is the only system that combines the advantages of a ventilated facade (air gap, moisture evacuation, thermal bridge elimination) with a render finish (monolithic appearance, unlimited palette of colours and textures). The Sto recycled glass support panel replaces traditional cladding — render is applied directly onto the panel.
QUASART, based in Crauthem (L-3327), is a certified Sto applicator in Luxembourg. We master the entire StoVentec system: aluminium subframe, Glass support panel, reinforcement, StoSilco or StoLotusan finish render. We operate in Luxembourg, Moselle (Metz, Thionville) and Belgium (Arlon).
Sto render offers the widest palette of all ventilated facades — plains, two-tone, material effects.

Sto-specific T and L aluminium profiles. Adjustable fixing brackets, plumb correction. Ventilated air gap 40 mm minimum. Load calculation by Sto engineering department.
Hydrophobic silicone-silicate render — lotus effect, self-cleaning. Over 800 RAL and NCS shades. Grain 1.0 to 3.0 mm. The standard for StoVentec ventilated facades.
Patented Sto lotus-effect finish render — rain cleans the facade. Extreme hydrophobicity, resistance to algae and fungi. Ideal for north/west-facing facades in Luxembourg.
Fibreglass reinforcement mesh embedded in the base coat. Impact and crack resistance. Applied in one or two layers depending on the required resistance class.
The StoVentec system is compatible with all insulations: EPS, rock wool, wood fibre. Insulation is fitted between uprights, the breather membrane protects, the air gap ventilates.
An integrated system = every step is defined by Sto. QUASART strictly follows the specifications.
Fixing aluminium brackets to the substrate, laser alignment. Installing vertical uprights. Correcting wall irregularities up to 100 mm.

ETA specific to the StoVentec Glass system — covers the support panel, subframe, fixings and finish render. CE marking of the complete system.
The StoVentec system achieves A2-s1,d0 rating with the Glass panel — compatible with high-rise, public buildings and buildings with enhanced fire requirements.
The StoVentec system follows DTU 41.2 principles — subframe, ventilation, fixings — while derogating through its specific ETA for render finish.
Complementary reference for lightweight facades — applicable to the aluminium uprights and cross-members of the StoVentec system.
European performance standard for lightweight facades. The StoVentec system is tested and certified under this standard for air permeability and weathertightness.
The StoVentec system with integrated insulation meets RE 2020 and GPE Luxembourg requirements. The Glass panel and render have no thermal bridge — the only bridge is the aluminium subframe.
The primary use case for StoVentec — overcladding a degraded render facade with a ventilated system and new render finish. No removal of the old render. Integrated thermal improvement.
A2 rating of the Glass panel — compatible with public buildings and buildings subject to fire requirements. Render finish for seamless urban integration with existing buildings.
Alternative to direct ETICS when ventilation is required — low-energy and RE 2020 schemes with monolithic render finish. StoLotusan for exposed facades.
StoVentec on the lower section or main building body, combined with wood, zinc or HPL cladding as accent. StoVentec render integrates perfectly with other QUASART materials.
StoVentec is render that breathes. The ventilated facade without giving up the rendered look — the best of both worlds.QUASART — Certified Sto applicator
System, performance and installation
Standard ETICS bonds insulation directly to the wall and render directly to the insulation — no air gap. StoVentec inserts a ventilated air gap between the insulation and the support panel, like cladding. Result: better moisture management, thermal bridge elimination, superior durability. The additional cost is offset by longevity.
Yes — 97%. The panel is manufactured from post-consumer recycled glass (bottles, glazing). It is rigid, rot-proof, A2 rated and emits no toxic substances. It is one of the most environmentally friendly facade panels on the market.
All Sto finish renders are compatible: StoSilco (silicone-silicate, the standard), StoLotusan (self-cleaning lotus effect), StoLevell (polished concrete effect), StoColor (finish paint on render). Over 800 RAL and NCS shades available.
It is actually its primary use case. StoVentec allows overcladding a degraded or cracked render facade without removing the old render. The subframe fixes to the existing wall, insulation fills the voids, the Glass panel receives the new render. Result: new facade, improved thermal performance.
Yes. QUASART is a trained and referenced Sto applicator for the installation of the StoVentec system in Luxembourg. Our teams are trained in the system specifics — Glass panel, dedicated subframe, Sto renders. The Sto system warranty applies on our projects.
Cost varies between 200 and 350 EUR/m² installed depending on insulation thickness, type of finish render and facade complexity. It is more expensive than standard ETICS but the durability and moisture management justify the investment. QUASART provides a precise quotation after study.
