Mechanical rendering

Machine plaster: consistency and pace for new-build programmes.

Machine plaster (mechanical interior rendering) is the most productive technique for new housing sites. A PFT G4/G5 spraying machine can render 200 to 400 m²/day — compared to 40-60 m² by hand — with perfect thickness consistency.

QUASART, based in Crauthem (L-3327), has latest-generation machines and trained operators. We work during the shell phase on collective housing, detached housing and commercial programmes in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

FAQ

Questions about machine plaster

Everything you need to know

No — for areas > 100 m², machine plaster is cheaper per m² thanks to machine productivity.

Knauf MP 75 dries in 3 to 7 days depending on thickness and ventilation. The plaster is ready when uniformly white.

Concrete, aerated concrete, brick, block, hollow block — all masonry surfaces. On smooth shuttered concrete, a primer (Knauf Betokontakt) is mandatory.

Yes — Knauf MP 75 at 10 to 15 mm. Beyond this, reinforcement mesh is needed.

Standard plaster (MP 75) is not suitable for wet rooms. QUASART uses cement render (Weber Calcimur) or moisture-resistant boards (BA13 H).

Standard tolerance is ±3 mm under a 2 m straightedge (DTU 26.1). For high-end finishes, QUASART achieves ±2 mm with sanding.
