QUASART — professional drywall and plastering in Luxembourg

Interior plastering is a strategic trade in Luxembourg construction — it governs the acoustic, thermal and aesthetic quality of every internal space. QUASART delivers every plastering service on the Luxembourg market: mechanised sprayed plaster for new-build housing programmes and drywall partitions, linings and suspended ceilings for refurbishment. Whether for a single apartment in the centre of Luxembourg-City or a two-hundred-unit residential block in Belval, the same execution discipline applies: certified substrates, compliant moisture levels, documented bead and corner treatment, photographic records at every stage.

Our teams operate PFT G4 and G5 plastering machines for collective housing programmes. QUASART delivers sprayed plaster packages from five to two hundred units in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. For refurbishment, our know-how covers partitions, insulated linings, suspended ceilings and finishing plaster. We work exclusively with Knauf, Gyproc, Rigips and Siniat systems, with product data sheets kept on site for every delivery. Acoustic performance targets (Rw, DnTw) and fire classifications are documented and verified at handover.

Based in Crauthem, we cover the entire territory — from new-build programmes in Belval to apartment refurbishments in the heart of Luxembourg-City. QUASART is insured by AXA (policy 10/0214108) for every drywall and plastering project, with ten-year decennial cover on the partitions, linings and suspended ceilings installed. A dedicated site manager is assigned to every programme, ensuring a single point of contact from specification to handover.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions — Drywall in Luxembourg

Sprayed plaster (mechanised plaster render) is applied directly to masonry substrates — concrete, cellular concrete, blockwork. It is ideal for new-build programmes because it covers large surfaces quickly with a monolithic finish, ready to receive paint. Drywall partitioning (plasterboard on metal studs) is faster and more versatile for partitions, linings and suspended ceilings. The two techniques are complementary: QUASART combines them on new-build programmes and on refurbishment projects to deliver the most efficient solution per surface.

Yes. QUASART operates PFT G4 and G5 plastering machines and dedicated teams for collective housing programmes. We deliver sprayed plaster packages from five to two hundred units in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, with a site manager dedicated to each programme. Daily production, moisture monitoring, substrate checks and handover reports are documented and shared with the general contractor. QUASART references include residential programmes in Belval, Kirchberg, Gasperich and Strassen.

Yes. QUASART installs suspended ceilings in plasterboard (BA13) and in mineral tiles (Armstrong, Rockfon), for residential and tertiary buildings. Acoustic performance (Rw, alpha-w), fire classification (A1, A2-s1,d0) and modular flexibility are specified depending on the usage: offices, schools, healthcare, residential. Integrated luminaires, air diffusers, sprinklers and speakers are coordinated with the other trades during installation.

QUASART works exclusively with Knauf, Gyproc (Saint-Gobain), Rigips and Siniat. Standard plasterboard, moisture-resistant boards (for wet areas), fire-rated boards (F15, F30, F60, F90), impact-resistant boards and acoustic boards are specified depending on the room use and the regulatory requirements. Product data sheets are kept on site for every delivery and certification references are handed over at project completion.

The timeline depends on the programme scale. A single apartment refurbishment takes one to three weeks depending on the surface and the finish level. A collective housing programme of fifty units takes six to ten weeks of sprayed plaster, followed by the finishing and painting packages. QUASART coordinates with the general contractor to align plastering with the other trades (electrical, plumbing, flooring) and never commits to a deadline it cannot hold.

Drywall partitions can reach high acoustic performance levels: double-layer BA13 on 70 mm metal studs with rock wool insulation achieves Rw > 50 dB. Specific partition systems for the residential and hotel sectors (separation between apartments, hotel rooms) reach Rw > 55-60 dB. QUASART specifies the right system for the target acoustic performance and documents compliance with product data sheets and laboratory test reports.
