Timber cladding
Larch, Douglas fir, Accoya — horizontal, vertical or diagonal boards. Pre-greying available. Natural, durable aesthetic.
Timber, zinc, fibre cement, terracotta, HPL, natural stone — QUASART masters every ventilated cladding system in the Grand Duchy. Head office in Crauthem, coverage across the entire territory.
Facade cladding is one of the most dynamic construction segments in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Between the residential programmes in Belval, the office towers on the Kirchberg plateau and the new-build developments across the south of the country, QUASART operates on every typology with proven expertise. Our teams cover the entire territory, from single-family homes in Strassen to large-scale housing schemes in Esch-sur-Alzette, always with the same rigour on drawings, mock-ups and installation.
QUASART delivers every ventilated facade system: timber cladding (larch, Douglas fir, Accoya), fibre cement (Eternit, Equitone), pre-weathered zinc (VMZinc), terracotta (Moeding), HPL high-pressure laminate (Trespa), natural stone and Dekton ultracompact sintered panels. Each material is selected based on the architectural context, the technical constraints of the building, the sustainability targets of the client and the available budget — never by default, always by design.
Based in Crauthem (L-3327), at the heart of Luxembourg, we reach most municipalities in less than twenty minutes — from Strassen to Esch-sur-Alzette, from the Kirchberg plateau to Belval. Our full decennial insurance is underwritten by AXA (policy 10/0214108), covering every cladding, insulation and facade project we deliver.
Larch, Douglas fir, Accoya — horizontal, vertical or diagonal boards. Pre-greying available. Natural, durable aesthetic.
Eternit Cedral, Equitone — large-format panels or boards. Fire resistance, durability, zero maintenance.
VMZinc, Aurubis — pre-weathered zinc, copper, standing seam cassettes. The signature material of Luxembourg architecture.
Moeding Alphaton — terracotta baguettes and panels. A noble material with natural tones and lasting heritage character.
Des aides financières existent au Luxembourg pour les travaux d’isolation. Le programme myenergy (Klimabonus) peut couvrir une partie de votre investissement selon les critères d’éligibilité en vigueur. Consultez myenergy.lu pour connaître votre situation.
myenergy.lu →There is no universal best cladding — the answer depends on the project. Timber cladding remains the most popular choice for single-family homes thanks to its warm aesthetic and ecological profile. Fibre cement dominates multi-residential programmes for its cost-durability balance. Zinc and natural stone are favoured for premium buildings on the Kirchberg plateau and in Luxembourg-City. HPL is ideal for large office facades. QUASART advises on the right system based on architectural intent, budget and exposure — free of charge, after an on-site visit.
Yes. Any modification to the external appearance of a building visible from public space requires a building permit in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The procedure varies slightly from one municipality to another — Luxembourg-City, Esch-sur-Alzette, Bertrange, Strassen and Hesperange each have their own urban planning service. QUASART guides clients towards the right contacts and provides the technical documentation required to support the application: product data sheets, elevation drawings, photomontages, fire classifications. We never submit on behalf of the owner — the permit belongs to you.
Every project is studied individually. Straightforward schemes move forward quickly; complex projects deserve the time they need — including design coordination, mock-ups, substrate inspection and staged delivery. QUASART communicates a precise planning window as part of the quotation: design validation, material procurement, scaffolding, installation and handover. We never commit to a deadline we cannot hold, and we keep clients informed at every stage of the project.
QUASART installs six main families of cladding in Luxembourg: timber (larch, Douglas fir, Accoya), fibre cement (Eternit, Equitone), pre-weathered zinc (VMZinc), terracotta (Moeding), HPL high-pressure laminate (Trespa, Fundermax), natural stone and Dekton ultracompact panels. Each family covers several finishes, formats and fixing principles. We work exclusively with certified manufacturers and systems that meet Luxembourg fire and thermal regulations, with product data sheets available on request.
Yes. QUASART is fully insured by AXA under policy 10/0214108 for every facade and cladding project delivered in Luxembourg, France and Belgium. This ten-year decennial cover extends to the substructure, the insulation layer, the ventilated cavity, the cladding skin and all accessories. QUASART S.à r.l. is registered with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under B253631, VAT number LU33087966. Insurance certificates are provided on request for every tender.
Yes. QUASART has longstanding working relationships with Luxembourg architects, facade engineers and design practices. We can step in during the concept design phase to advise on technical feasibility, during the tender phase to propose relevant system variants, and during construction to guarantee execution aligned with the architectural intent. Our teams handle mock-ups, sample approvals and on-site visits during the early phases of every project, free of charge.
Financial support schemes exist in Luxembourg for insulation works. The myenergy programme (Klimabonus) may cover part of your investment, subject to current eligibility criteria. When cladding is combined with external thermal insulation (ETICS or insulated ventilated facade), part of the works may qualify. QUASART provides the technical documentation needed for your file — calculated R-values, ACERMI insulation data sheets, compliant invoices — while the application itself is handled directly with myenergy.lu. We never present QUASART as a certified Klimabonus partner.
