  • Zinc at €250/m² costs €3.12/m²/year — cheaper than HPL over 30 years

The real cladding prices in 2026

The prices below are indicative ranges for the Luxembourg market in 2026, supply and installation included, on a standard ventilated sub-frame (aluminium sub-frame, 100mm rockwool insulation, facade cladding). Luxembourg VAT (17%) is not included.

Every project is unique — architectural complexity (cut-outs, corners, openings), facade height (scaffolding cost) and volume (m²) all significantly impact the unit price. A precise quotation requires a site visit.

Notre recommandation

Price is not everything — think total cost

Zinc at €250/m² with an 80-year service life works out at €3.12/m²/year. HPL at €140/m² with a 25-year service life works out at €5.60/m²/year. Over the long term, the most expensive material to buy is often the cheapest to own.

Architectural complexity is the leading price driver: a plain rectangular facade with no openings costs 30-40% less than a facade broken up by numerous windows, corners and parapets.

QUASART helps you think in terms of total cost — investment + maintenance + replacement — to choose the material that optimises your budget over the service life of your building.

Tout ce que vous devez savoir

Réponses directes aux questions que nos clients nous posent le plus souvent sur ce sujet.

Cladding alone is not subsidised. However, if the cladding includes thermal insulation (EWI), the complete system may be eligible for Klimabonus grants. The insulation must achieve R ≥ 3.7 m²·K/W. Consult myenergy.lu for the conditions in force.
Architectural complexity is the main factor: cut-outs, corners, openings, parapets, zones that are hard to access. Facade height (scaffolding or cherry-picker cost) and volume (economies of scale on large projects) complete the picture. A per-m² price can only be precise once the project has been studied.
Yes. The ranges include supply and installation on a standard ventilated sub-frame (aluminium sub-frame, 100mm rockwool insulation, cladding). Scaffolding, site protection and Luxembourg VAT (17%) are additional and depend on the site.
